Enviro recruits new Chief Operating Officer internally

N.B. The English text is an in-house translation of the original Swedish text. Should there be any disparities between the Swedish and the English text, the Swedish text shall prevail. Olov Ershag will be appointed as new COO of Scandinavian Enviro Systems after the summer. Olov has since 2008 worked at the company as a process engineer, and has together with Enviro’s founder, Bengt-Sture Ershag, contributed to further develop the patented pyrolysis process to a commercial scale.

– Olov has been a key person in the construction of the recycling plant in Åsensbruk and is highly involved in the construction and operation of the delivery process. Thus, it’s a natural recruitment as we now enter the stage to build plants for clients around the world, says Thomas Sörensson, CEO for Enviro.

As Enviro’s new COO, Olov Ershag will operate the technical components of future delivery projects together with the company’s project management in Sweden, and optimize technical solutions for specific customer needs and criteria. Olov Ershag also takes over the responsibilities of Enviro’s current CTO Elisabeth Gustafsson who after three years leaves the company for GU Ventures.
