Enviro has informed the Swedish King about the company’s development and upcoming expansion

On Tuesday, May 4, the Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf arranged a video meeting with Enviro’s CEO Thomas Sörensson and Chairman Alf Blomqvist. The meeting was a follow-up to the King’s visit to Enviro’s facility in Åsensbruk, 2016.

At Tuesday’s meeting, the King was informed of the latest developments, including the strategic partnership with Michelin and the upcoming joint recycling plant in Chile. The company’s CEO and Chairman also reported on future expansion plans and the ambition to establish a new recycling facility in western Sweden.

“The King showed great interest in what has happened since the visit in 2016 and asked a number of relevant questions. It was a pleasant and initiated conversation about our development and Enviro’s opportunities to contribute to making the tyre industry and the handling of end-of-life tyres more sustainable,” says Thomas Sörensson, CEO Enviro.
