Basic Design project in its final stage
In November Enviro and ÅF entered an agreement to establish tyre recycling plants around the world. The agreement made ÅF a collaborator in the project to develop a Basic Design for new recycling plants, which now is in its final stage.
– The project has proceeded according to plan and we are now in the final phase. There’s great value in the packaging of our offer that the Basic Design enables, and the documentation will be a big help when applying for establishing plants both in Chile and other parts of the world, says Thomas Sörensson, CEO of Enviro.
A Basic Design is a template design which includes detailed blueprints of a recycling plant. The documentation is used to apply for establishing plants that meets the requirements and directives of the EU and Chile.
– We are currently compiling the final report. The partnership with Enviro has worked well and their technical expertise has been important. When the project is finished, we will be able to present a complete technical overview with calculations and designs of how the recycling plants will function, says Mattias Carlsson, Market Area Manager at ÅF Industry AB.
