The company is based on a patented pyrolysis technology invented by Bengt-Sture Ershag, Sweden, 1994. Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB produces and sells turn key plants for used tire recycling.

The business concept is to manufacture high quality products from worn-out rubber tires.

In 1998, the patent was issued and the design of a pilot plant began. Interest in the concept has been enormous and contacts around the world have established. Our pilot plant, which was opened in September 2008, was very successful and we have now started to build a full scale plant for treatment of 10 000 tons of tires per year (30 000 within three years. The production plant will be ready late 2011.
