The coal that we get from the CFC process is comparable to charcoal. In order to become interesting for the industry, it must be refined in some way. With our special, patented process the coal can be refined to CB of high quality. Refinement of CB is a necessity in order to achieve an attractive product.

It is an advantage in producing CB in different qualities. We have a special method for doing this and we will develop it further at the pilot plant. CB produced from tires can be mixed with existing CB qualities on the market and therefore be adapted to different fields of application.

The market for CB is large. The annual turnaround in the world is almost trillion USD and is growing 5 % every year. Nearly 60% of all CB produced is used within the automobile industry, and the remainder is split between colour pigmentation, industrial rubber and UV-protection.
